I love the FCM tile custom base flashings as they come with a timber insert on the inside, once the skylight sits on top you just screw straight to the timber.

This stuff is amazing, you can roll it out on pretty much any surface and it will stick down. Forget about the days of taping or weighing down your protective floor coverings. If youre working on a fast moving work site, this stuff is incredible.
